You need fresh mint leaves for this project, so grow some first or get leaves from neighbors who have it.

Materials:
  • One big handful or mint leaves
  • A two-quart glass jar
  • Water
  • Aluminum foil
  • Honey and ice (optional)
  • Cups

What to do:

1. Fill the jar with water and add a big handful of mint leaves to the jar. Then cover the mouth of the jar with aluminum foil.

2. Let the jar sit in a sunny spot for two or three hours. Then pour a cup of solar mint tea for yourself and each of your friends.

3. Add some ice and honey if you wish.
